This is my Dad,its a younger picture of Him.He was born on June 19,I belive.LOL.I am not good with Bdays. My oldest Brothers bday is near His also.Hes always been and will be a good Dad,always been there for us.He was very strick to us when we were younger kids.LOL.I laugh now.But He is more mellowed out now.Hes the Dad of 2 Sons and 2 Daughters, well, make that 3 Sons.Him and my Mom have raised my couisn since He was a baby and I always call Him my Brother. We also have 3 Sister N laws and 1 Brother N law. So,you can probllay count how many Grandkids they have.LoL.He has always provided for us and if we ever need Him,He is always there.I am sure its hard on Him just as it is hard on anyone who doesnt have a Father. He lost His Dad many years ago on Christmas day,His Mom died a year ago.So it hasnt been easy for Him.I love my Dad so much, even thoe we arent close,I know He will always be there for me.He is the best Dad I could ever had.Thank you for visiting.

Some men are very different. Years ago they were not suppose to show their emotions. My father was very quiet and did not say he loved me all the time. When he passed away I realized how much he cared for me because of the things he had saved and cherished over the years. It is harder for some to say things, but sometimes their feelings run very deep. Wishing you a wonderful week, Janie

Mandy, this is beautiful.  I was reading the comment below.  My Dad didn't tell me he loved me until I was 26, I think it was, and that was after many years of my saying it.  Their generation grew up basically "showing" love instead of saying I love you.  Sometimes we women need to hear it though, huh?  I can hear through your words that you know your dad loves you.  I am sure he does because he is always there for you.  That is precious.  My Dad lost his mom at 2.  That really scars them.  Thank you so much for participating in the hunt!  God bless you and your family, dear one... Love, Val xox

Such a nice thing to do for your Dad Mandy.  Very thoughtful, and well written.  It shows a lot of love and humor.  All the good things we all like to remember about our parents...:)

Thanks for sharing, hope your week is a good one..:)
